Hi,

Recently got my black dice from the NAF. Sure they look cool, but I haven't managed to nail a win with them yet (about 5 games so far). Is is it a curse/paranoia/Levinas fixing the dice when I'm not looking...? All help gratefully received.

PS While I'm on a paranoid tip - are these black babies heavier than the white ones you get with the game?

Take my advice.

Sell your "cool black unique" dice to a non NAF Friend.

And then play a game against him.

Believe me there is nothing as coll as to see a double skull from his block.

Made to #1 in the ranking mostly using the black dice. So they can't be that bad

I have also noted this Phonominom when using my NAF Dice so I use them as a way of getting my 'Standard' Box Set Dice to behave.

E.g. Before rolling a three dice Block that is in my opponents favour (I'm a Halfling player) I tell my Dice that if they fail i'll start using my NAF dice, and hey presto I roll the Wacks

Use a black and white one when you start playing.
The light and darkness aspect cancels the bad luck/karma.
You also have a yin/yang sense of serenity when you roll them.

Use the black dice for one dice blocks. White is simply the colour of pushbacks, while black is more evil and will roll more pow's (unfortunately, also skulls).

So, Lucy's advice would be.
1D block (black dice)
2D block (1 black & 1 white dice)
3D block (all blacks)

and yes, the Black dice are basically crap... I tend to use my white dice if I give a damn about the result and my black dice when fielding my goblin tossing Orcs...

I also had no luck with the black dices.
But now I use one black and one white dice-
And it worked so far

But for single dice blocks I would always choose the white dice

I can only apologise. Yes, it is true. My luck turned in remarkable, and frankly almost rude, fashion . Still, probably means I am due a shoeing next time out.

hm, my black NAF dices are quite ok... i got more problems with the armor roll dices I´m using two pair, but it doesnt help.

BTW... could be nice new goodies for the next NAF membership extension.
... some black special NAF D6 dices. Maybe instead of the six a "NAF" or another nice symbol ? Would be nice to have a nice black NAF dice Set ? And should be no copyright prob with GW

Would make more sense to have the NAF symbol on the '1' side instead of the '6', but good idea.
Maybe a NAF d8 as well then we would have all the dice needed to play BB from the NAF.
