Hi all! I'm thinking of starting BB, and as such, I want to find players in Eire. Preferably counties with easy access from Dublin. That way I can go to you through trains, buses, etc, or else we meet and/or play in the city centre. This weird-looking arrangement is required as I live in Offaly and don't drive yet. All inquiries welcome!

name : tad wesley
occupation: home equity loans
resides in: terre haute, indiana, usa (terre haute = french word for "smelly crap town" - actually "high land" but mine is much more descriptive)
interests: blood bowl (naturally), flames of war, roleplaying, computer games, history.
personal info: age 31, married (suzanne), one 7-month old daughter (brianna)

welcome to the group.

can't help ya with games in eire, but i can tell you that you WILL enjoy the game a lot if you're considering it. it combines the strategy and tactical elements of chess with randomness so the game is never the same twice. on top of that you have fun miniatures, fantasy races, player skill progression (think levels if you're familiar with rpgs) and team management strategies if you get to play in a league.

tourneys are also a lot of fun, and the bb community is (if i may say so) really great.

If you want to find players in Eire, it might be a good idea to edit the title to say that (as this is a multi-national forum). When you do it, please don't use CAPS, as that's construed as shouting, and impolite.
