Ok just got home after a weekend of fun at the WPS Club Challenge with my backside spanked!

I played a human bunny girl team and had great fun but was advised by my apponents I should use them as Amazons. Any one out there tried both teams as I've only ever played 8 games and 4 turns( due to both me n other coach havin one to many!)

Any advice appreciated I am a very confused girlie at min

both teams are good, use them as whatever you want.

I was told the rules are about to change n LRB5 due out?

I think probably amazons as seemed that I could have used dodge so much in every game though am unsure as held scores low except a 4-3 defeat! n think i held my own pretty well!

What teams do you use?

I use orcs and humans mainly but I am currently painting up a bunny girl team to use as amazons. I'd say given the strength of zons from the start they would be a better choice for you. Its not just their dodge ability but also the fact dodge means one less result on the blocking dice to get them down.

I do also play dark elf and skaven but I wouldn't recommend them to a new player personally.

Ms PG - i used the other bunny girl team at the CC as Zons.

Zons can be forgiving against most teams but they're a bit slow and fragile. Mind you, one you get Blodge on most of your team they're very tough to put down (need a 6/POW unless blocker has tackle)

Try the Zons and see how you get on. Oh and start with 4 Blitzers whatever you do. See the thread below

humans are good at everything but dont really do anything specail.

amazons are similar and all have dodge, some good blitzers but very low armor all round.

try both teams and see how you feel

Make them Amazons, they're very forgiving for a newer coach to use. Easy to remember the stats for, quick to develop (Just remember to grab Block first), more forgiving if you make a mistake and they're pretty powerful.
Also the Zon team hardly changes at all (+10K to Reroll cost) in LRB5 and they get access to some interesting skills that help.

As said above, just make sure you have 4 Blitzers when you start.

Well shall try as both! Humans did ok at CC which makes for a possiblity of my mastering them but think I could do to try amazons befor I get set in stone, not to worried about them being easy as enjoy having to think on my feet!

Think 4 blitzers is deffinately my next move either way as my bunnies spent half their time looking at the sky Had the bowl alot inbetween being plowed down n scored quite well think I should drop one thrower n some of my support team (which I only had as they looked fantastic fun to paint!)

I take it teams do balance up eventually as a coach so there's chance to grow eh!

I've got a Valkyrie team which is great for Amazons, Norse or Human. I've been playing them as Zons for league and tournament this year. Get some guard on the Blitzers right away.

Knew I needed more dodge!! not come across guard so shall get out ye ol' rule book n have a look thanks maureen.

I might make a good coach yet

I have a bunny team too and alwas used them as Amazons, and they have only lose with chaos dwarves so far.
With 4 players with blodge, and the possibility to increase the blodge players more or less quickly, is difficult to go far wrong.
The nurse with the carrot is one of my favorite figs, as are the bunny cheerleaders.
But of course, you can use them as humans too, as they have more variety in stats, it's just a matter of agreeing with your opponent.
Good look with your bunnies (the best models in the world imo).

have tried the Bunny Girls as Amazons now , had a good effect , just need to paint up the extra two Blitzers I have purchased.

Looking forwards to their next tournament outing at Britcon 06 ( in UK).

seven games , I should know the rules even better at the end of ready for running my own tournament in October !
