Questions, questions, questions...

Post by The 7th Duke »

Greetings and salutations from the third world.

DaImp and I were talking lastnight over a league game between Gobbos and High Elves, and we have an interesting question:

If you have players occupying all available squares around an opponent, and throw a block resulting in a push - is it possible to force him into a Fanatic's Ball 'n Chain? or does the Fanatic just get pushed outta the way as well? (After all, prone players get to roll out the way when a Fanatic enters their square)

Thanks guys...

It doesn't make any difference. The push back is handled normally.

But wouldn't the victim of such a push back suffer the effects of being smacked by the Ball 'n Chain? After all, if the Fanatic cannot control his own movement, it doesn't make much sense that he would politely step outta the way for the other player.
And second, if the Fanatic moved back as a result of being bumped by the other player - surely the wildly swinging ball would hit him?
