That can't be a set up. For a start there's an elf on the deck and a human blitzer downfield. And what's that thrower doing way over in the corner?
I reckon Daryl's just taken turn 1, ran the thrower over to pick up the deep kick, and an inaccurate pass has ended his turn, hence the ball being where it is.
So there!

yes ,this is the end of Daryl's turn but he has only move a blitzer and thrower during this turn.
