NAF isn't anything to do with online blood bowl matches, its a ranking system for official table top tournaments

http://www.bloodbowl.net more info over there

Judging by the rules, i assume you dont get money increase between the games. Can anyone verify this?

No money. Your team is the same throughout apart from the skills - this means no extra players, but all your casualties come back. Standard tournament play.

I met Odium Khan last night and we tried out the Lincon ruleset, between my Dwarfs (what else) and his Dark Elves. Seems to work - we had a good one.
Still dunno if I can make it down to Lincon - depends on my finances. Hope I can though, if only for the BB tourney.

Yup, it was a good game.
The registration form on LinCon's webpage is now complete, you can find the details on how to pay the fee there. Remember you aren't guaranteed a place at the tournament until they've recieved your money, so everyone rush away now to the nearest "Kassaservice" and make a deposit!

Guess I should get around to it...I have an extra day of holiday coming cos I worked May 1st.

Odium - we should see about getting some sort of mutual transpport arrangements if we're both (and anyone from your league) going.

Update!

Post by Reventlov »

I got some information from Lincon last night.

There are 23 registred players so far.

I guess we'll have 5 rounds of swiss and then top4 play-offs.

I hope more people will show up.

See ya all there.

/Anders

Do we know how many of those are already NAF registered?
I'll try and get some dice sorted and print off some NAF application forms.

Should be fun. Odium Khan and I will be coming down on wednesday evening.

Translation for anyone who might complain:
There weren't any of you here when I wrote that, now there are a couple, ok? (But you know that Norway is just the bit of Scandinavia that Sweden didn't want anymore, right?)

Nice, give me a call when you arrive. Maybe we can play a practice game. I have no idea how many that are NAF registred. I would guess not many if any besides you.

About NAF memberships:

The second NAF tournament in Finland already had 19/22 coaches that were NAF, and we even got one who came just to sign up and then left. I believe the block dice were quite important in making people want to join up. And peer pressure is important too - make the NAF coaches realise that the more NAF coaches there are, the more important the tournament is and the lower is the possibility that they get "short stick" games against non-NAF coaches! Then they shall surely encourage the others to join. Not everyone will, but most.

I'm hoping that at RopeCon we can get most of the 32 coaches to join - 30 is perhaps the best we can realistically reach, but my aim is still the entire 32 coaches to be NAF.

Should be arriving at about 2030...planning on leaving Uppsala about 1800 (I have to work until 1700). I'll have my (tourney) Dwarfs and my Rats with me...
