So the usual drop out and the usual drop ins ...

Sorry for those that cannot make it for various reasons. Hope everything sorts out well!

Cheers and see you all this weekend! (only two work days to go!)

Delighted to confirm, I will still be there!

I have a troll to paint tonight before I'm done. Lot's to do so may be a late one... :?:

I would like to try my luck with amazones this weekend.
But none of the teams in my collection is suitable to look like ladies.
Can I borrow someone's amazones-team?
Thanks!

Unbelievable... you've got to own all teams beside that one, and then you want to play... them.

The event was as a brilliant as ever, I had great games, hey I lost to Draco and I was battered! (note in black bock for Draco...) Well done Jelmer, also GreatMC 2nd and woohoo I got 3rd, my best Brassbowl finish.

Great to see you guys again, I missed last year for family reasons but so enjoyed it.

Yep, top notch job. Grats to everyone. Still not sure how I got more Cas than TDs with my Wood Elves!

Thanks to Dries and Christof for driving us around everywhere. Very much appreciated.

Chicken and Beer was as good as ever. Getting ready for next year already!

Life will never be the same again ...

Thanks guys for a great weekend! Had a blast playing skaven again though there is still a very long way to go to figure out how they actually work ...

Apologies again to Carloz for that last game. It should have been yours if it wasn't for that first blitz result on the kick-off @ 1-1. That second blitz @ 2-1 just added insult to the injury. Big, big sorry for those!

Let me end by saying: "Uno!!!" :orc:

Seb's orcs are a bit furry too in reality.;)

Had a blast. I had to play dwarves and did so. Of course I will play a fun team of dwarves, not the standard roster. 11 Longbeards and 2 blitzers who got sure hands.

Every opponent looked astonished. In the case of Lycos, it was even good enough for a win!, the dice going my way after a skull out from Dave's BoB. End 1-0

My host (muchas gracias again my friend!) Nighthawk decided orcs had to take revenge and got the 0-1. So all was level again after 2 games.

Zorror pulled the "my dark elves will not die" card and any KO will come back. No stalling gave the elves the edge resulting in a wonderfull 2-3 loss in maybe the most entertaining game.

Next day halflings refused to die as well. It looked like I was going to get a defeat, losing dwarves in the crowd and failed go for its and 1 die blitz pows. 0-1 until turn 16 when the dwarves prudeced rare magic. Linedwarf blitzing, pushback, dodge 6, GFI to the endzone 6, make a long bomb pass with the ballcarrier line dwarf 6, and to put some cream on the top, a catch 6. 1-1 Not deserved and sorry for Kwèk.

Last game against Hellboys woodelves. I get 1-0 behind, grind in the 1-1 before half time running my lungs out after again a pass to a longbeard who was lucky not to be crowdpushed. Second half and the Woodies are lying all around the pitch. I can easy make it 2-1 for the final score if I want to, getting the dwarf cage in front of his endzone, But he needend worry, I never stall and give him the change to score back in three turns. To bad for him the GFI to get the ball near his catcher at the middleline fails. A little pounding later and the ball and victory are mine.

Great tournament, many thanks to my opponents and all hosts. Also thanks Seb for joining me on saturday to "gamesday" at Nighthawks. Antje showed us hell with Uno! Now I did not need to suffer her wrath alone.

See you all next year for another tournament. Woete, you can start making the lineup for amazons as you promised!
