The same concept just moved the date to the end of the Easter holiday

Well after previous years - here we go again! The Snotlings loved all the new teams and want a re- run.

In the beginning teams were created and developed but 1 group of players remained firmly in the shadows. They often went totally unnoticed, but then came some enlightenment and the goblins were no longer allowed to mix with the Ogre teams. Instead the Snotlings were given the opportunity to play. Soon though the better Snotling players got tired of just being thrown about by the big unreliable oafs and wanted to taste glory on other teams.

Despite petitions and pleadings The Great Law-Givers would not yield, so a plan was hatched to apply for an exemption zone where they could play as they wished, free from normal constraints. Each Snotling player could persuade entice and harangue a team to this zone, and then join their new team with hopes of glory.
As an off shore island the Isle of Wight was the perfect place for the exemption zone and the first ever recognized tournament on the Island is now played there every year.

Rules:

The full tournament rules will be those prevailing 4 weeks prior to the tournament date, unless specifically mentioned below.
Each team must comprise of a minimum roster of 11 players. All inducements allowed with any money left over star players, cards (which will be chosen at Random) bribes etc
After creation every roster will have an additional Snotling star player added to the roster.
This Snotling will also start life with the Block and Fend skill in addition to their usual skills.
This represents each star's growth in Blood Bowl and illustrates the illustrious career they have formerly had (perhaps a clue as to how they raised the cash to implement the tournament)

A full 16 player roster will still receive a Snotling star. The Snotling star will not count towards the overall team value.
TV 1050

Your Snotling MUST be placed on the field if available and forms part of the 11 players set up for kick-off.
There will be a prize for the coach who keeps their Snotling in play the most turns over the whole tournament, and there will also be a prize for Snotling Hunting, ie the coach who does the most damage to opposing Snotlings.

Skills to be taken before each match and decided thus:
A d12 will be rolled by tournament staff with numbers 1-11 eligible only. A roll of 12 will result in a re roll, and any players with roster numbers above 11 will be ignored and not be elligible to receive a skill up. After the player has been determined there will then be 2 d6 rolled by a tournament administrator to determine which skill choice is available for selection.

It is therefore possible that a player will earn more than one skill-up over the course of the weekend. Doubles may be taken, as may Stat Increases.

The Snotling stars are getting very excited now and in a brave effort to stay in the game as long as possible have employed their own cornerman with his magic sponge. These medics are renowned for keeping players going following a knock out and as such the Snotling stars will be stunned rather than knocked out. The cornermen can not be used for anything other than a knock out, on your Snotling star.

It has also been noticed by the Snotling lords that some cowardly devious snotling lords have been avoiding injury by getting sent off. After consultation with the referees guild it has been decided that the snotling will in the event of being sent off be kept on the pitch and a randomly rolled for player from their team sent off instead. Should the ejected player be holding the ball then it will scatter from the square the sent off player was standing in.
