Bump. guess to use my doom diver for now, I should just use a normal goblin on the roster and keep track of the extra 20k ? maybe spend it as cheerleaders or something?

Think this was mentioned earlier on a post in the Facebook Blood Bowl group. It was a guy (Anthony Baez) who is now a global admin on the NAF OBBLM, apparently. Afraid I don't know everyone's NAF vs. real names, so here's copy and paste.


Q. I guess there's only 2 main issues with NAF OBBLM right now: a, how to get your league started with the setup work and problems that happen there and b, where is the DZ2 content.

A. (from Anthony Baez) A) I’d be glad to help you setup you obblm b) Michael Franchetti is working on the dz 2 rollout as we speak. He began a full rework of some things so it’ll take a bit.

So my weekend update is well over due. :oops: Apologies, and thansk to LunchMoney for chasing me up.
The planned update to OBBLM to accomodate DZ2 turned out to be more complicated than anticipated, as it will have to accomodate various different starting points for the update. There are a number of patches and custom teams that will have to be allowed for. However, after discussion with Valen, since the NAF installation is a known quantity, we should be able to update it more easily before trying to roll out a generic update to other OBBLM installations. That should be getting tested over the next week or two and hopefully going live after that.
This update should bring in all the Races, Positions, Skills and Inducements from DZ2 (and previous). It won't be bringing in additional functionality to handle redrafting, Special Referees or Stadiums, that will be further down the line.

I'd also like to update the Translations as part of this, so I'm looking for help.

Development update: The DZ2 patch is complete and good to go for the NAF site. I'm hoping to put it live in the next day or two, just waiting on some info on the best way to do this. Being a little cautious as it's the first update I've applied to the NAF site, I'm much more cavalier about potentially breaking my own site :D

The NAFLM repository has been updated and is available to anyone who wants to apply the DZ2 changes to their own site. I do not recommend doing this if you have applied any previous DZ2 patches or have used any custom teams, positionals or Star Players. There will be a more robust version delivered next which will be able to take these factors into account.

Development Update: We tried the update today but ran into some incompatibilities and rolled back the changes. Will be continuing to look at it tonight and tomorrow. Doesn't look like a big issue, so I'm optimistic it'll be a quick fix.

DZ2 Update is Live: The DZ2 Update is now live on the NAF OBBLM Site. Please let me know if you have any issues or anything looks incorrect.

Menu Display: If the menu is not displaying correctly, showing as plain text rather than dropdowns, please clear your browser cache and reload. This is most likely to affect Chrome, as it is more agressive in its caching and may retain old CSS files.
You can do this by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + DEL, select Cached images and files and click Clear Data.

What about from a mobile phone, I cannot seem to get anything to work. It's all text and no drop down boxes.

Again, I'm assuming this is Chrome on Android, other browsers shouldn't be affected:
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. To the right of the address bar, tap More More and then Settings.
  3. Tap Privacy and then Clear browsing data.
  4. Set the time range to All time.
  5. Check "Cached images and files." Uncheck all the other items.
  6. Tap Clear data.
If you are on another browser, let me know the details and I'll see what I can do.

Ah, yes he is. The icons were supplied from FUMBBL, so we don't have them for the new positionals. It should have been defaulted to the Lineman icon but that's been missed from the updated. It's an easy fix and I'll get it in place soon.
