hey, take it as a given that i am stupid with computers.

installed java 5.0 (tried 1.4.2.09 too) and javaBbowl 8.3 with 8.4 patch. keep getting various probs when trying to launch:

with java5.0 i get:
- original splash file is damaged, missing or changed
when opening Bbowl.jar

and with java1.4.2 i get:
-InstallShield "command line parameters" followed by a list of things i dont really understand, again when trying to open Bbowl.jar

Can anyone please help, would love to play this game, used to play board version and loved it!!!

that whole site is dedicated to the java client and you might find someone who has experienced the same problems.

Mine worked fine first try so I wouldn't know what the right "fix" is.
