Hi there, my local clubs new Blood Bowl league will be starting it`s second season very soon. Last season we used Halfling Scribe but now we wish to try out OBBLM.

Our league has 13 teams that we would like to break up into 2 divisions, 1 of 6 teams and 1 of 7 teams. The final league winner is to be determined by a final match played between the top team in each division.

Can anyone tell me how to set this up? Frankly I'm finding OBBLM a little confusing in this regard lol.

I think this is how you should do it:

1: Navigate to Admin -> Leagues, divisions & tournaments -> Division
2: Create your two divisions.

Now it depends on how you want to do this. If you want a round-robin system you should go to Admin -> Schedule matches. Check round-robin button, chose division, a tournament name and ranking system. Then seed bracket is how many times each coach will play each other. Add the teams that are going to play and create the tournament. All done!

If you on the other hand want it to be a FFA I would just let the coaches schedule their own games. Admin -> Leagues, divisions & tournaments -> Tournament. Select division, get a name for the tournament, ranking system and then let the coaches schedule their own games. Scheduling can be found under Matches -> Schedule match

Is OBBLM better than 'Halfling Scribe'?

I use the latter, but have never tried OBBLM.

Do people prefer one over the other? Or find that one is better?
