Then perhaps we will have to settle this discussion in the time honoured tradition of Blood Bowl next month!

Lets say we meet in Amsterdam in July to further discuss your excellent painting skills and your nation's limited goalkeeping standards...

Spawney 'kin goals against England are more in keeping with the Krouts and don't make a team worthy of being the World Champions. Come on South Korea!

As for painting.......wot's up lad........were you chicken!

Longfang is actually totally bemused why anybody would vote for the Skaven above the All-Star, and thinks that anybody who did so is either:
a) Blinded by the stripes.
b) Totally ignorant of painting technique.
c) Partially sighted.
d) All of the above.

Having taken non-stop stick since only getting 2 points for my Undead at Resurrection, I'd just like to say.....

Just because you're los-ing.. :P :P :P

Dam, I was hoping you were going to be really drawn in. Had my heaviest gauge line on the fishing rod and everything! All you did is have a nibble.

a complaint!

the Bunnies In Blood Bowl Society (BIBBS) would like to lodge an official complaint over the obvious sexism in the TBBF painting competition. We feel that our entrant, the lovely miss Brittney Bunny has been sidelined by a concious effort of this all MALE forum to vote as a collective group for a MALE winner. We offer our condolences to the charming Witch Elf who has also been a victim of this EVIL MALE PLOT!

yours in disgust,
Barbie Bunny (CEO BIBBS)

ps: the Brionne Bunnies Blood Bowl team are now appearing live after matches in Uncle Hefner's All Nude All Revealing sports bar.

LOL Imp.
I allmost voted for her, but i simply liked the mummy to much, somehow the gloss has given him (or is it a it, maybe even a her) a very cool look that combined with the colourchoice made it a winne in my book
The mini is cool as well where is it from?

the Bunny Girl team is made by Shadowforge. I think they are an Australian company who specialise in making female miniatures for fantasy and sci-fi wargames. '

They have 2 other female fantasy football teams, a team of nuns and a standard female grid iron team. The bunny girls just appealed to me for some reason :)

I liked the bunny, but to finalise my comments LongFang, presentation is pretty much everything in this world, which is why ugly women in mini skirts and heels get laid more than pretty ones in dungarees and boots.... 8)

DW went to the trouble of doing a border, a description, plus various angles etc and turned out a very professional looking piece. You painted a model and photographed it. In my original post, I made the point it was a very difficult decision. With hindsight, perhaps if the flames on the shoulder pads were a different colour to the outfit the guy is wearing, then that may have helped. Also, I used to love the Bengals, so DW swung it...

I didn't enter because I didn't want you amateurs to feel bad

OK, OK, I'm busy, very busy, and I forgot to photograph the stupid lizard! :x

Still, in just 4 weeks you will get to see a fully painted team while they wreak merry havoc in the Dam... :D
