Anyone who would not make time to go to a BB tournament instead of a weekend football game is going to find great reasons to not go the the BB tournament any other time of year as well. I know football fanatics ... and all of them miss games for events they consider important enough.

Sorry I can't resist...
OK A Fanatic of a RL football game should give that up one weekend to go attend a weekend tourney of a FANTASY football game?
Sorry that does NOT make any sense to me. Majority of appeal to this game is that it is fantasy FOOTBALL. Given the choice, the vast majority would go for the real thing instead of play.
Plus you factor in cost of unused tickets and the price tag for trying to attend this tourney just got bigger...
I will admit to being a football fan first and bloodbowl is a very close second. Attending football games is my family vacation with the wife.
Your comment is similar to someone saying we need to have this tourney during June, and you can decide if your family time at the beach is more important.
I just don't understand trying to get a big draw on a fantasy football game in the middle of real-life football season. You are forcing people to decide between the 2 as I believe most of the american BB players are football fans as well. I believe most of them react the same as I do, real football wins out.
