IIRC the trains run directly to Liverpool Street so that's by and away the quickest way to get into the city. If its the same hostel as last year you can then just take the northern line down to ??? and walk to the hostel.

As Ian says the quickest way to the city from Stansted is the train. The Stansted Express leaves from the terminal about every 15 minutes and goes to Liverpool Street. From there take the Underground to reach the Hostel. Catch the Central Line Westbound (Red line) to Bank, and change at Bank to the Northern Line Southbound (Black line) to go to London Bridge. At London Bridge leave by the Borough High Street exit and walk down the road till you find number 161-165. I e-mailed a map out yesterday to everyone so have a look on there.

With which teams you'll show up? From Italy will come a Norse (me) and a couple of Skaven

See you in a couple of days,

the walk from Liverpool street to the hostel is about 2-3 miles (I walked it last year)

If there are a few of you just get a taxi

The N35 night bus runs from Liverpool Street to Borough High Street (where the hostel is) if you don't fancy walking or coughing up for a cab.

How late is late? You really want to avoid a taxi if you can, the tube service is very good, just depends on when you will arrive...

according to the national rail enquiries website (here's the one for your journey gav) http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/planmyjou ... etable.asp

the journey should take about 1 hour 15 minutes or so, especially at that time of night.

then it's just the short walk from the tube station to the hostel.

link works fine for me. but yeah it'll be that sort of time if you use public transport.

taxi's are going to be pricey, that is if they do go south of the river and all that (the old cabbie excuse) should be alright though. cost you a fair whack though.
