Ah, the flings! Was that the all-fling, no treemen, 8 rerolls line-up? Adventurous, but madness! I love it! Thanks to Ryan's sterling work, halflings have now pulled level with goblins in the all-time wooden spoon table.

Cheers

Noo, that was a 'Fling team with 2 trees, 5(?) rerolls and shed-loads of flings, that actually tried to play the ball part of Blood Bowl, as well as tried to kill the rats.

Before he tries to blag it here, Ryan did NOT "win" the Wooden Spoon at the Blood Bowl this year.
In at least 2 games he avoided the ball, as "I don't want to score", and still only finished bottom because he had points deducted for being late. :pissed:

Yeah, I noticed that on the BB GT thread, Simon. Who was the winner then? Shaniepoo?

No i came in at 132 (3rd from the bottom if you include Ryan) The guy who came in last was Lyam Bishop his Necro team 'Tomb Raiders'.

I did however manage to come join last place for TD's scored with only 2 over all 6 games:cry:

I suppose Flame On B team should join their illustrious peers after their tremendous showing at the World Cup last weekend

Barney the Lurker - Humans
Ninjahamster - Necromatic
Grotsmeg - Chaos
Rewe - Orcs
Zoglug - Skaven
Sizzling Gromril - Nurgle

For last place!

FWIW, and if anyone is still updating this, I have the dubious distinction of coming last in the first (2003 IIRC- I may be wrong) Blood Bowl Grand Tournament with a goblin team. There was an article about the tournament in which I feature fairly heavily in one of the Blood Bowl magazines from the time.

Probably worth adding that I won a copy of the LOTR:TT game, but wasn't trying to come last- I was just rubbish! And took a 'fun' team- 16 goblins, all 4 secret weapons.. Great time, very poor results!

Just back from the Monkey Bowl- I didn't come last!!!

(which I think means I'm better than I was....)

Peanut took his Elves to inverted glory at the Zlurpee Bowl (0-0-6) to take his second spoon (or in this case, weak sauce) award of the year (after Stupor Bowl - also 0-0-6).
