He is a 28mm metal figure...
The figure is plastic...
The auction writing is as professional as the painting, apparently.

And don't get me wrong, I'd call it a decent tabletop paint job, I suppose. Must of us have seen worse on the table -- hell, we've probably seen worse that was also called pro-painted. But a tabletop job and a pro job are two vastly different things.

You've got to admire the guy really. Nailing a 40K chainsword on to a plastic lineman and calling him a star player...

And pro painted? Don't get me wrong, I can't paint for toffee. But then I don't call my 'efforts' pro painted! (mine aren't as good as this on many/most occaisions either  )

Still, I guess ebay is full of this kind of thing. Just got to be wise to it. To be fair it doesn't seem like an excercise in wool-pulling, he's not calling it "rare" and "out of production" and all that crap that always gets tagged on to everything, but it's a bit rich.

I would have to agree. The paint job is nice, but not "pro-painted", I can do a better job than that, and I would never call my work pro-painted. Norse, Urb, Eggball, THOSE guys can do pro-painted figs, to name a few.
