Ok,

After not playing it for over 10 years. I'm thinking of starting playing Warhammer again. Does anyone know of a good cheap website that sells 2nd hand figs? Kinda like a warhammer Tritex :D

Take care

Ian

Don't do it!!!

Well, at least don't get involved with tournaments. Rules are open to too much interpretation / potential for cheating... :(

If it's for the move up our way, we as a club have nearly every army, and they are lent out willy nilly.

I'd give it a go first. BB is picking up steam up here and about 4 of us have distanced our selves from fantasy so far. Still playing for a laugh, the club events and the tournies I'm already signed up for but other than that not much more.

Also we nearly always end up shifting our armies internally for 'mates rates' which ends up cheap for good armies.

But defo give it a go. Just don't lay down any moolah.

Oh and it's 7th edition now.

chaosorc.com

Some of it is at a reasonable price, you'll have to have a look around.

And as said the current edition is seventh, the rulebook looks like this:

But it's also available as a mini book in the Battle For Skull Pass set (the books are available on eBay as well, usually about $15). It's paperback and smaller than the big rulebook, but it has all the rules completely (so it's not abridged, they just left out all the fluff and modelling ideas).

Good luck getting back into the hobby, don't listen to the people that say you shouldn't do it, 7th edition is pretty solid ruleswise, and if you have the right opponents you don't really have to worry about people exploiting the rules.

I can imagine the same thing doesn't go for tournaments though ;)
