I really like that werewolf for a norse ulfwerener. I have to wonder exactly how big they are, I got some of the werewolves from them once and they were like str 5 guys and taller than every other mini on the pitch.

Gah!, and you're right.... I just noticed the height markers on the right of each fig... and the Were is, indeed, way too big....Borthcollective wrote:I really like that werewolf for a norse ulfwerener. Assuming that those are 28mm, standard trash cans... he's a big boy! But, maybe, not too big...(?)
To capture images, right click on the image and select "properties", then copy the url in the popup.... Then click "Img" under "Post a reply" (on this forum), then depress "ctrl" on your keyboard and then "V" while ctrl is still depressed... this will put the pic in your post....
For an example, click "reply", in this post, and look at the code:
Sasquatch is Out of Print, but you can still get two of them at Miniature-Giant for $6.65 USD each....

Re: Reviews and Previews:
Here's a fascinating mini from Tor... an Orcnar Unmann that comes with enough pieces to make 9 different poses.... It stands at 32mm (average) to the eyes.... Maybe someone will find a use for these interesting minis:
Tor Gaming wrote:Details: Measuring: ~32 floor to eye. Models can be assembled into 9 different poses (separate left arms.)
Pack contains 3 multipart lead free pewter miniatures. Miniatures require assembly and painting. Painting materials are not included. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts and pointed components

Re: Reviews and Previews:
Saw those last ones on TTGN and immediately thought of potential FF uses. Would like to see a pic with a mini I know to get the scale. Certainly awesome. Chaos and Lizardmen are the immdeiate thoughts if those are 30mm bases.

Well, if Scibor makes enough of these to defray postage...
So now we have a Summer Dwarf and Summer Orc... what's next?!

Re: Reviews and Previews:
This Black Hat Miniature could be an nice alternative for an ogre.
If ever i go for a human team, i'll do a "lucha libre" theme using this mini as an ogre.
they also do have various halflings
http://www.blackhat.co.uk/online_shop/p ... 3fead3cd4c
And this could make interresting dwarves cheerleaders

LOVE THIS MINI!!! I use him as my Snow Troll. Smaller than most of the big guy models people are currently using, but fits well on BB pitch, even lying down. I use a pair of Beorg's Bearmen for my Ulf's and GW Norse team models for the rest of the team. The Bearmen are clearly ST 4 and the Sasquatch clearly ST 5. Excellent sculpt and a real pleasure to paint. I get compliments all the time (and it's not my painting skill - the sculpt is just that nice!).
Unfortunately, I don't have a pic right now.

Otherworld, a new U.K. offering, has a good offering in their "shadows"... a not so good Ghoul set (imho) and a couple of Ogres.... These are all greens/pre-production models, so may not look as good as it gets:

Darkson Designs Does It Again! If you subscribe to the 2nd Edition vision...
Supposed to come out in November as a pack of two different(?) figs.... Wonder if you could do a zombie dog theme for Necros, with Secrets of the Reich figs on the line...?
Maybe with Impact minis added in for Wights?
