Non metalic metal.
He hasn't used metalic paints, insteads he's actaully painted with black, white and grey so well that it looks like metal. Lots of top end competition enties do it becuase it photographs better than metalic paints.

That looks like a very, very nice 2D comic painting !! WOW! Everytime there is something better out there than the best you just saw... I´m just wondering, if artist like this one use airbrushing ... at last for the larger surfaces ? I´m thinking to try this, too. when i´m finished moving house... and get a nice working space again.
