Hey Maverick. Those are from Celtos. Formorian Sirens. Its probably cheaper to buy the blister packs. Good eye by the way. I think those are Kevin White sculpts (currently of Hasslefree fame)

Didn't have to hunt. I admired them when they came out. Great figs. Its just too bad that I-kore was such a screwed up company. I hope that Brigadier can do the figs justice.

Those are great. I've just been looking for some alternative zon players. These are high on the list now.

No problem. Some of them do have tails and horns tho, as well as cloven feet. They are the Celtos version of Daemonettes. You can't really see from the picture tho. But who's to say that Amazons can't have tails? :D

Ahhhh.. now I see it. The feet did look kinda strange to me. Women with tails? You mean like little devils? That they are....

I'd been idly wondering about the potential of Maidenhead miniatures' feral elves as alternative wood elves, but they might work with these Sirens as Amazon positionals. See what you think:

There are quite a few, some with more potential than others.

maidenhead woodelves...

I did a wood elf team a year ago based entirely on maidenhead feral elf conversions. It turned out really well I've just never gotten around to finishing the paint job. If you want I can post some photos.

Yuzu,

That is in interesting line. I would love to see the photos of your unfinished team. As I looked through the images, I kept considering how I would convert them into players. :)

feral elves

Post by Yuzu »

lerchey,

Here's my team based on the maidenhead miniatures. I was really excited about them until I started painting them and then I totally lost interest. I found that most of the miniatures were too chunky and busy for me.

The two with the giant horns and props on the bases are the wardancers. I like those models and the skinny ones but the ones with the thick leaves for shirts have really sloppy detailing in the sculpts that I could never make look good.

and this was my take on the treeman, he's based on a mangrove so he has roots that lift his trunk up above the ground.
