Talk Fantasy Football

Well, a little project of mine has just culminated with the delivery of some custom Blood Bowl weather dice. I was inspired by the Litko weather tokens now available from Impact, so the images are designed to fit in with them, but also be easily identifiable as the various types of weather.

I think they turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself, and I figured you guys might find them mildly interesting.





It's not a new concept by any means, you roll both both dice and check the results. If the first die shows a white cloud its fine, if it shows a red cloud you take whatever weather is shown on the second die.

We got 25 sets made, which will be going out to Australian Blood Bowlers from the www.ausbowl.com forums.

I would be interested in a set of these. Thats if you will be making any more.

I'm afraid not, this post is purely for demonstration purposes. They were not difficult to have made, so I would urge anyone who is interested to approach a custom dice website and make some enquiries.

Of course, if someone did want a set of these, all they would need to do is attend either CanCon 2008 or Eucalyptus Bowl 2008 and win one of the sets which will be available as prizes

Nice. I've looked at several different homemade sets over the years, but these do look good without having to have talent at painting or making decals.

Impact! has licenced with Litko the imagery from the weather tokens and plan on early next year making these dice ... if you all can wait until then. If not ... carry on.

I get this feeling that Impact! is going to own me. I feel like an addict.
