TRAVEL MAGNETIC BB......A GREAT PROJECT

Post by festen »

Greetings from Spain you all...

I know I haven´t post anything till today, but now I belive we have to make it public in order to gain some "followers" outside Spain...

First of all, some photos of "our" project:

http://www.blood-bowl-miniatures.de/bb/ ... 090192.htm

Not long ago, Spanish BB players (Lei and Dan Titan) handmade some travel magnetic BB sets, in order to enable our game to be played anywhere... The players were made of magnetic counters, with the pictures taken from the javabowl engine... You can see some photos about how to create them in the spanish post, although you can made it quite easy with a color printer and a big chocolate´s tin...

Well, as a Warmaster player, I find it very appealing to play BB with a minor scale, in order to made it cheaper to have a copy of each team, and far too much easy to paint them, so I take some Mechwarrior miniatures, and some Warmaster Big Guys, and prepared some teams for myself:

It was quite easy to prepare them, and the results were quite nice, but then we get to the idea of trying to find somebody interested enough to model and cast the teams, so I begun asking all the 10mm Miniatures producers I knew from Warmaster line... and after 6 months we´ve found one...

One Australian producer, Eureka Miniatures, have just answered me that they find the project appealing enough to cast the miniatures, but we have to be a minimum of players interested in buying them in order to present the idea to his coleagues.. In our "little" spanish forum we´ve found 29 interested players, but we need to be a lot more if we want to make our project "real"...

A full team of 16 miniatures would cost only 8 AUD$...

I´d like you to post a reply in order to note down your nicks in the list below:

There is no "I" in "TEAM", but there is an "M" and an "E", and that spells "ME"
