Excellent werewolf alternatives

Post by Syphwyn »

Just seen these, what a great werewolf alternative. They're from Westwinds Secrets of the third reich

These 2 are alright:

But these are really good:

I think 1, 2 and 4 have already been shown and discussed here, though not sure on 3.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

The only one I really like there is the last one, the others seem to have pretty static 'howling at the moon' type poses that don't appeal to me.

The Werewolf was sculpted for my AE-WWII line of miniatures but I thought he would work well as a Blood Bowl miniature also. I am going to have my sculptor sculpt some shoulder pads that you will be able to pick up from the on-line shop. When this sculpt becomes available I will let you guys know. Your LGS will be able to get this sculpt from all of their normal Distributors. :D

Quite a few of the new Occult sculpts might work well for BB as they get released I will post photos of them for you guys to check out.

Cheers,
Robert

Anyone know of a stockist that does these. Perfect for my Kishargo Werebears team. Westwinds appear to charge the earth for postage. Got 2 of e-b*y (they're getting no free advertising from me!) and made a deal on postage as the seller took them out of the boxes and posted them.

Cheers

It would help others to know if you're in the U.S. or Europe... though I can't, for the life of me, remember where mine came from (I use two on my Necro team)....

I use Wolfgang and Mondheulen.... The Mondheulen figure came out remarkably well when I used Fire Phoenix Red on the "flying fur" and I now have the only Scottish Werewolf in BB afaik....

Bronzeageminis just released a new Norse Troll that looks quite cool and very werewolf-ish.

I think I'm going to have to order 2 of those, they fit way better than the one I am using.

A little more "manish", but if done right... would make a fine werewolf...!
