... to be used as Chaos/Nurgle Warriors:

1) Has anyone ever put these together?

2) They look real good from the front... is the "jump pack" a necessary part of the model... or is it easily left off w/o affecting the looks of the model....

3) I'm looking into building them out of bits.... Are legs, torsos, arms, shoulder pads and heads enough?

4) Any other comments/advice...?

There is the little hemisphere the backback it supposed to mount to.
I don't see why it couldn't be removed though.

You can just cut that off, no problem.

I've got a couple of CSM (Chaos Space Marines) laying around here, what do you actually want to know ? Any pics needed ?

They are quite posable. The plastics (I assume you go with plastics) have seperate front and back plates, seperate heads, seperate arms, seperate shoulderpads, and seperate legs. However, they are paired and need to go in the upper torso.
You can quite easily cut them apart and glue them together in a more running pose if needed.

Hope that helps,

JaM

edit: ah, possessed... Dont have them, sorry. New ones or the old ones ?
they are metal I beleive, I think you might have more succes with normal CSM.

The new possessed are plastics....

I'm wanting to pair them with Incubi from Hordes.... That would make for some kinda frightening start to a Nurgle team: The Gravely Ill....

On second thought, the plastics can hang... I think I can make metals work... we'll see....
