Hobgoblin WIP?

Post by Shteve0 »

It's a new one on me. I was looking at the available full teams this guy's made with the idea of a "celtic" (welsh) bloodbowl side (with crazy druids as bezerkers or ulfwerener). The idea was to snip the forearms and heads off these rugby models and replace them with marauder bits, giving each player type a different flavour, and use the norse rules for playing the game...

Anyway, I was in the process of talking myslef out of it, and came across this fantasy football hobgoblin figure in the chap's WiP (picture 6):

What do you reckon? Good find?

(Oh, and I still think the welsh team is still a goer, just probably not with these players. One day, my boys, one day...)

Yeah! that really is a nice Hobgoblin indeed. I hope he does more of them.

FYI, Impact! contacted this guy about 3 months ago, so these may yet be cast in metal and available to all.. 8)

Ooooh, looks like there are some more up. It's a shame the feet are at 180 degrees in that one, but perhaps it's a moulding requirement. Do we know how many he's planning? Are there CDs on the way?

Exciting times indeed...
