Mmmmh, pose is okay to me, but I think he is too "beacky". Tail needs to be ditched too.

I like that - the tail doesn't bother me, and the beaks different.

Sorry, can't resist jumping in here. The reason that the "snow troll" is beaky and has a weird tail is because it's a Dungeons and Dragons (not official) owl bear. Would make a nice alternative snow troll though...
