Hi all
I know these minis have been discussed previously but are they any good? Quality of moulding, detail etc?
If anyone has converted a team from them do you have pics? I'm looking to try a new team but don't have much cash right now so these could be ideal.
Thanks a lot
James

Very, very good. The company is know for its quality products.
I think the ever present norse and piosman have converted some.

Thanks for the credit, but it was not me on the dwarf slayers... I have been watching them closely though.
Unfortunately (for my pocket), I think I will just end up getting the Greebo CDwarfs (they are too much awesome sauce).

I got a boxed set with the pre-order extras as I love slayers and already have a huge (now mostly useless) slayer army including the AoW metal characters.
They are a really nice set and I’d say better quality than any of the GW plastic Dwarf sets, but then GW has yet to do decent plastic dwarfs and most of their metal ones aren’t as good as the 3rd edition ones by Marauder Miniatures. The option of giving them bald heads is a great idea too.
I think you’d find it difficult to do a full team of them without some serious greenstuff magic as it would be hard to differentiate between blockers, runners and blitzers and they’d still look to be AV8 even with shoulder pads. Also they are quite static, but then that is very Dwarfish I suppose.

I like them - they are great quality and have plenty of options.. a little more fiddly than the GW kits though, lots more small bits and bobs to cut out and stick on.. how on earth I am meant to add the extra piercings is beyone me for instance.. they are smaller than a pin-head!

As far as differentiating Blockers vs. Blitzers, I always thought making the blockers regular and GS-ing helmet on the blitzers (with wings?) would do the trick.

I too would love te Greebo Chaos Dwarves but my other passion (downhill mountain biking) is costing me a fortune at the moment so money is tight!!!
I was planning on using different hair styles to mark the positionals, bald runners, pony tails for blitzers, mahoosive mohawks for slayers etc
Would the Impact! numbered shoulder pads work with a Dwarf team? are they a bit too small?

Thanks a lot pressie!!
They look like it wouldn't take too much work to get a team together from those sprues.

the impact pads would work fine (well, they have on mine!

)
I also differentiated position by hair style, seemed the easiest way to do it..
