Fluff question: what happened to Tuern Redvenom?

Hello all, i'm really sorry about invading this forum but i'm not sure where should i post it.
I know it's not a starplayer background, but today i was painting my 2 ed. Redvenom mini, and considering him as a great Chaos Pact starplayer (you know, he became lost in the chaos wastes and appears again to play for them or something)....
So i wonder... did he ever had a background or fluff? What happened to him? Why he disappeared?
