ok... Switzerland would like to be part of the fun again.
Though we've got the same problem as always. Not enough coaches with Swiss passport (your family needs to live in the country for 191749134 generations to get that thing). So we would field 3 coaches with Swiss passport, 1 living in Switzerland since he was born, 1 living here since 20+ years and married to a Swiss woman, 1 living next to the boarder and working here every day, 2 freebooters who like chocolate and cheese.
It's exactly the same setup as we had last year.
Is that ok with everyone? Believe me, I've asked pretty much every pure native Swiss Coach if they want to join (there are not that many).

having a passport doesn't make you eligible to play for that country anyway, lots of americans don't have passports and never leave their state let alone the states

Almunia was born in spain but because he has lived in England for so long he is eligible for the English football team for example

so the guy living there his whole life and the one who married and has been there 20+ years are not even an issue for anyone

Given the rest I can't really see anyone having a problem and I'd prefer Switzerland participated than didn't, if anyone disagrees I'll bite their ankles

If someone has been living in a country on a permanent basis (about 3 to 5 years +) then that's always been enough to make them eligible to play for that country in the Eurobowl sense.

This fix the problem for the 2 players living in Switzerland, (providing this is an official answer that the italian referee will/do/did validate)

Thanks for the first part of the answer.

but what about the one living in France and working in Switzerland for 2 years, is he considered as a freebooter ? (actually the one=me, and i went last year to Barcelone without issues)

The Swiss team also have a potential French coach living in switzerland but for less than 3 years. What about him ? Is he elligible as a Swiss coach or is he considered as a freebooter ?

You have to ask to Farina or Beppe for the confirmation!

Personally I think it's all ok

If you need 2 freeboters take a look at the list: http://www.talkbloodbowl.com/phpBB2/vie ... hp?t=27642
