JaM,

Dunno if you've tried the Vallejo matt yet, but I did today. Seems to work fine over the GW gloss, though I'll probably do a second coat as a few areas on the figure are still shiny.

I'll have pics up and send the model by the end of the week.

Not on this model, had some succes with other models recently.

Will probably varnish this one by hand, as soon as I have an idea how to do the base, and how you guys get those clean white lines (name and numbers) on the base. I cant seem to get those straight :-? ...

But thanks for the heads up. It's time to finish it and send it out.

I would have preffered if his mouth was open but apart from that I'm quite happy with how he's looking. He is now primed and sitting on my desk.

I like zombies.

I also like the old goofy GW-style.

For this I'd ike to make somthing a bit unusual. I've thought about zombies from other races and such, but instead I tried to play around with the zombies.

I tried making a "backwards aligned" zombie. He was put together sloppily by the necromancer... The pics are bad, but the torso and legs are in one direction and the arms and head in the other...

Problem is, that I don't feel that it works... What do you think? Note that the shoulder guard is a temp from the 40K range.

After all I want the winner to at least consider putting the fella on the pitch ;)

I don't think it's a bad idea. Maybe it would lookh better with a different head.

Yeah, I like the idea, but the head should be a tad more zombyfied.

Or, if it was stitched together like that, it should show the stitches.

But I wouldnt mind fielding this one :D

Is there any way of making the pose more upright, he is looking at the sky at the moment.

Mrbrownesquire, are you collecting the minis this year? If so could you post an address to send them to? Thank you in advance.

Ikterus: If you only turned the torso back to front I think it should work better, esteticly or otherwise. Its a good idea nevertheless :)

I don't really want to post my address but if people send me a PM when their model is ready, I will reply with my address.

A little work in progress update. My first attempt at "Sculpting" a helmet. I should prime it tomorrow and start painting.
