## BCGames Presents "Halloween Blood Bowl" 2025 ##

It’s that spooky time of year again time in the Blood Bowl World, and Bruce the magic sprout has organised a special Halloween celebration with the help of Battle City Games. Fancy dress is optional, but also encouraged.

Date: 26th October 2025.
Location: Battle City Games Ltd, Unit 6, Exchange House, 122-124 LONDON ROAD, Hilsea, Portsmouth PO2 9DD.

## Team Building and Skills ##
Halloween Blood Bowl will be a resurrection tournament and players can build a team budget of 1150 gold. They’re tiered with the following skills, which must be represented by a skill ring. Teams must be fully painted and based.

Tier 1 – 2 primary skills
Tier 2 – 3 primary, & 1 secondary skill.
Tier 3 – 4 primary, & 2 secondary skills.

At the start of the tournament up to 2 players on the team may have 2 stacked skills. Secondary skills may be swapped for a primary.

## Bruce the Sprout Special Rules ##
Players can earn SPP during the games, as per standard league rules. You can pick your MVP at the end of the game. Though no random skill are allowed. SPP carries over to the next game. All players are treated as having 0SPP at the start of first round, even if they have been given skills as part of your team build. Please keep track of your skills and SPPs.

TV difference.
While this is a exhibition tournament, as you earn extra skills, your team value will go up, 20k for 1 primary skill, 40k for 1 secondary skill. Compare this with your opponent, the difference in value will allow you to buy the following inducements.

30k Team Mascot
30k Weather Mage
50k Bloodweiser Kegs
50k/100k Bribe
100k Wandering Apothecaries/ Mortuary Assistant/Plague Doctor

Rounds 1&2 the full Nuffle table will be in affect, D16 rather than D8, due to the extra SSP it can generate. Round 3 it will revert to a D8.

## Special Star rules ##
In theme with the Halloween tournament, there are 3 special priced stars allowed.
Skrull Bruceheight 100k (Skrull's skills, Primary - GS, Secondary - A)
Frank ‘n’ Bruce 150k (Frank 'n' Stein's skills, Primary - GS, Secondary - A)
Brucechen Wachter 150k (Gretchen's skills, Primary - GS, Secondary - A)

Along with their special price, these stars can also earn SPPs for the duration of the game if taken on a 'Sylvanian Spotlight' team. Due to the build up of Halloween magical energy, they are extra charged for the duration. Though a max of 2 skills can be earned at base costs. For example, 1st primary skill would be 6 SPP, 2nd 8 SPP. For skill access, player detail above.

## BCG Special Star ##
Bruce the Sprout
M6 S3 AG3+ PA- AV 8+ Horns, Jump Up, Loner (3+), Monstrous Mouth, Special skill - Bounding Leap. Plays for any team 110K plus 1 primary skill. Can be taken as part of you initial 11 team members.

# Sylvanian Spotlight Bonus #
All Sylvanian Spotlight teams that play during this special Halloween event, receive a team mascot for free as per the standard inducement rules for a team mascot. This extra inducement is only included if you bring an appropriate model. This could be a mini, a skull cup, or something of a similar theme.

All stars cost 1 skill, the following stars cost 3, because they are so good.

For the purpose of this tournament, the following will also cost 3 skills and a secondary:

** Can only be taken on stunty teams.
Teams must have 11 players before selecting any stars, unless on of those player is Bruce the Sprout.

Mighty blow/DP +2
All players who have mighty blow +2 or dirty player +2 (including once per game +1) will have the following rule:

Professional Pain-giver
These players know how to hurt the opposition just enough to cause damage, but avoid the lengthy paperwork that can follow a broken bone or death.
As a result anytime this player causes a casualty, roll the injury dice as per usual for the purpose of apothecaries. But treat any result after this step as “badly hurt” only.

## Inducements ##
All common inducements on pg 84 of the Blood Bowl 2020 rule book are allowed, plus team mascot. Giants, detailed in the Deathzone supplement can be included. No other additional cards or Inducements from GW publications are being used.

## Schedule ##
3 games of hot Blood Bowl action. 2 hours 15 minutes per game. Slow coaches will be put on a clock if required. The Android App ‘BB Coach Assistant’ has a suitable clock.

0930 - registration.
1000 to 1215 - Game 1.
1215 to 1230 – 1st SPP
1230 to 1300- Lunch
1300 to 1515 - Game 2
1515 to 1530 – 2nd SPP
1530 to 1745 - Game 3
1745 - Prizes.

## Scoring ##
20 points for a win.
10 points for a draw.
2 points for a perfect defence (No TDs conceded).
1 point for each TD and CAS scored (up to 3 max).
Giving a max score of 28 points per round.

Strength of schedule, TD difference, CAS difference, Lowest Tier.

Most TDs.*
Most CAS.*
Best team/dressed Halloween theme.
Stunty Cup (if 2 or more Stunties).*

Players cannot win more than one prize marked with a *.
There will be a number of prizes available on the day for those that get Awards, along with in-game event prizes.
Everyone will receive a participation prizes as long as they signed up 1 month before the event start date.
