Important Notice of a Venue Change

I have learned today that the venue listed in the rulespack (The Shakespeare Hall, North Rd) has gone out of business with all staff made redundant

They didn't contact me to inform me which is disappointing. I learned when I tried to get in touch ahead of the event. I'm currently attempting to retrieve the lost deposit via the insolvency company.

Luckily at the last minute I have been able to book an alternative venue as follows:

Elvet Methodist Church, 8 Old Elvet, Durham DH1 3HL

The venue is still in walking distance of the train and bus station, within Durham city.

Please note the schedule has also changed due to room hire availability.

The new schedule is as follows:

Saturday 6th April 2024
10.30 Doors open / Registration
10.45-13.00 Game 1
13.00-13.30 Lunch break
13.30-15.45 Game 2
16.00-18.15 Game 3

Sunday 7th April 2024
09.30-11.45 Game 4
11.45-12.30 Lunch break (and Best Painted Team voting)
12.30-14.45 Game 5
15.00-17.15 Game 6
17.30 Awards ceremony
18.00 Close

(The main change is the later start on Saturday)
