Halflings Needed

Hey guys,

I'm on the lookout for a specific halfing Pudgy BaconBreath. He's the little dude (obviously) who is standing to attention. He's got a large spike on his left shoulder with very large shoulder pads... large for his size anyway.

Can't seem to get hold of him without buying a whole lot of other halflings on ebay. Specific retailers seem to be charging unreasonable amounts for him anyway, when you include postage on top.

Anyway, if you have this or any other distinctive halfling players then I'd be interested. I have all the 1994 minatures, but might be interested in anything different!

I'll be at the Spiky Tournament in Reading competing. I'll be the Halfling team conquering all before me..... the object is to eat as much as possible to win isn't it? But seriously, the Halfling coach will be me. I imagine I'll be the only one!

Hey pal,

this ebay auction might interest you:

I placed a bid on it for you, so just tell me if you still want this little
bugger. Otherwise I keep him for myself.

For some reason the Germans have gone mad on old figures, many don't
know that there's about £40 worth of old mini's available in the U.K.
GW blood-bowl archive......said figure in auction above is available for
£1.50 + P&P.

You are right. Some buyers are really crasy. But maybe you knew also the sad stories about Mailorder UK or Mailorder Germany. So ít´s safer to buy on ebay than order from UK.... and yes quite a few german ebayer knew about cheaper minis from UK and selling them for a good price here in Germany. :( But I know and ordered my stuff direcly at MOUK. But no more BB minis there for me.

I understand the situation....haveing dealings with GW UK..sending e-mails
then being asked for a prompt reply only to hear nothing

It just the Archive is a well hidden feature of GW...ie if you type in
Blood Bowl in the search...it does'nt list archive stuff as well.

Hi,

Good to see a fellow Baconbreath fan (see name), as horikem mentioned you can still buy him for £1.50 through Uk mail order or GW online - http://www.games-workshop.com/storefron ... ase=200451

This might also interest you an ebay uk auction for eight c1988 BB halfings.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 1774496542

Also have a look for the 1980's BB playing treeman - love those models.

Good Luck

Cheers,
Ed

P.s My freind who goes to Uni in Reading was thinking of attending the spike tournmament, through I don't know if he got around to applying. If he did you might have to share the sticky buns with his halfings. :)

I recently got a 'lot' of Halfling players of eBay. There's 22 of the little fellas, more than I really need. If you're interested in some me know...
