Re: Three Die Block - Blood Bowl Podcast
Thanks Boys, would have been good to hear what you thought about the change from the original line-up where Catchers had Leap instead of NOS (personal theory was that got dropped as it made them too much like the soon to be Slaan)
I personally think that helped make them unique and as you say the change to diving catch is not so useful to Pro Elves.
I like the miss on the Thrower and the new production around the segments.
However how you cannot delineate clearly between the 4 Elf types is beyond me.
High - Rich
Wood - Tree hugging
Dark - Twisted
Pro - Football loving.
You want to look at a shoe-horned into the background team then look no further than Chances next project - Khemri.... I wish Tom had been able to delete them from the rules....

Re: Three Die Block - Blood Bowl Podcast
As voyagers_uk has noted, there is a new episode up!
http://pseudoradio.blogspot.com/2010/03 ... elves.html
This week, the guys tackle the Pro Elves and give their thoughts on mercenaries and journeymen, as well as the spotlight on the local leagues.
Enjoy!

I also have some thoughts on condensing the Undead crews so that Khemri really 'earn' their place, much like I favor the merging of too many Elf crews. So the Undead do not escape my wrath!voyagers_uk wrote:You want to look at a shoe-horned into the background team then look no further than Chances next project - Khemri.... We thought about the early Leaping Eves but were worried we'd be a bit out of our depth since that change happened a bit before our time in BB.
Of course, that hasn't stopped up from putting our foots in our mouths before...
Thanks for listening, voyagers_uk!

Re: Three Die Block - Blood Bowl Podcast
Same thing here all three of the podcasts are at the same volume leveling for me, I take them down with Itunes and transfer to my Ipod where I listen to them.Harry Buddha Palm wrote:I listen to it on my PC and it sounds fine to me.Lycos wrote:One question; I have you guys, I have Zlurpcast and TZ radio. In all cases I auto download through iTunes to the iphone - but 3DB is very "quiet"? I have volume right up and only just hear it.... anyone else? Zlurpcast is fine, the TZ radio is the same but each download seems to be very low volume on 3DB. Is this something I have wrong or anyone else get the same? Just curious.

Re: Three Die Block - Blood Bowl Podcast
Still don't have an answer regarding the volume issue. No one else has reported a problem, even those using the same system. My best guess is a particular setting on your iPhone - I wish I was more famiar with the iPhone so I could troubleshoot better. Is there an equalizer setting that needs adjusting?
This week's 3DB was slightly delayed due to the Easter holiday. I have it on good authority that it's not a lengthy delay and will hopefully be out later this week.

Man that was a weird drive into work this morning. I've been catching up with the older zlurpcasts recently and thought 3db would make a nice change but it was suprisingly similar today...

It's definitely not their normal episode.
If people enjoy it, I'm sure they'll be happy - if not, then the next episode is right around the corner. This is not a trend or anything - just a silly episode.

Re: Three Die Block - Blood Bowl Podcast
It was a gamble, to be sure. We had ideas for two different April Fool's shows and went with this one. For better or for worse.
If you enjoyed it, awesome!
If you hated it, I apologize and promise next episode will be back to standard 3DB goodness!
