By the way, I'm finally joining the NAF, I have posted some stuff over on Ausbowl to try get a hold of babs. Now all I need is time to play in a tourney!

Re: Tackle Zone Radio
you could do a joint episode (Here in the booth is The Other Guy) and just swap tracks and edit them into your cast

Re: Tackle Zone Radio
As a subscriber from the start, it was a very pleasant surprise to find a new ep available to download and listen to while I painted minis last night.
I'd recommend anyone who isn't listening to TZR to start. Though I give bad advice apparently, so take that for what it's worth.
Seriously, welcome back, TZR!

Re: Tackle Zone Radio
Loved the Brilliant Coaching segment. Those are some of my favorite skills. A significant reason I chose Norse as my team is that the 'gimme' skill - Block - is already taken so you get to figure out how you want to develop a piece from the very first upgrade.
Just a pity there aren't any skills that help with interceptions, I'd love to build a dedicated interception piece to shut down the long game but AFAIK the only two skills that help with the actual roll are Catch and Very Long Legs.

Re: Tackle Zone Radio
Yeah, it just doesn't actually help with the roll. The best use of Pass Block seems to be just getting a tackle zone on the receiver and hoping for the six.
Interception is a -2 modifier to the agility roll so for a basic AG3 personality you need 6, -1 for very long legs, -1 for each agility boost, with Catch as a reroll.
There's a niche missing here for an Interception skill that reduces or eliminates the Attempting an Interception penalty, akin to Accurate, Diving Catch or Nerves of Steel.

Its not missing ... its called play the Slann. then you get the Catcher from that team and that is the niche you describe filled.GuppyShark wrote:There's a niche missing here for an Interception skill that reduces or eliminates the Attempting an Interception penalty, akin to Accurate, Diving Catch or Nerves of Steel.
