Re: Hello All
Welcome to bloodbowl!
be careful, you know when you end up addicted quickly
First thing to do is to read the rulebook, which you can find on GW website (the rules in the box are probably outdated) so you get a grasp of all the skills and rules.
Then you have to choose a team: do you have an idea what you want to play?
Then we can give more specific advices.
The main one is : do eveything that cannot cause a turnover first, and always assume you are going to fail rolls, and have a backup plan, cause 2+ rolls seem easy but they fail so often...
then you can also go check Plasmoid's site, which is really helpful, but maybe play a few games before

Re: Hello All
My local club is running a Stunty league comprising of Goblins, Halflings, Lizardmen (0-1 Kroxigor + Skinks only), Ogres and Underworld (0-1 Warpstone Troll & Goblins only) so I going be looking at ones of those teams. Fortunately the people at the club are going let me have a go at a few teams before I go and buy one.the.tok wrote: Then you have to choose a team: do you have an idea what you want to play?

Re: Hello All
Well starting with stunties will learn you that players die quickly for sure ^^
don't have much experience with stunties though so can't really help
don't hesitate to try many teams before you decide, it is so different how you play depending on the team you use... say dwarves compared to wood elves for example : both are great but playing one after the other seems like a different game

Eeesh...starting off with stunties may be a bit disheartening.jasksta wrote:My local club is running a Stunty league comprising of Goblins, Halflings, Lizardmen (0-1 Kroxigor + Skinks only), Ogres and Underworld (0-1 Warpstone Troll & Goblins only) so I going be looking at ones of those teams. Re: Hello All
Hello and welcome.
With all stunty League, you should be fine, as all the little guys are frail.
You will find with the big guys having a better strength, you will want to block with them first, they all have "loner" so need to make a 4+ roll if you want to use a team reroll. Oh yes and don't forget an apothecary
