Mike, for us what don't "do" Facebook, can you like us to this conversion?mikeyc222 wrote:thanks jim!
i'm actually fortunate enough to have an original Zara mini, but i saw someone else that did this conversion on the FB blood bowl community group and i knew i had to do one too. heck... my original Zara isn't even paint yet, but i wanted to get this one finished and officially off of the hobby desk before i started my next project.
maybe GW will continue to add minis to the made to order program and give other people the opportunity to pick up an original Zara without over paying like we both did...

Heh, , would you believe I play Chaos Pact, and Underworld, as much as Necros, Undead, Khemri, Vampires and Nurgle? And now Ogres!Regash wrote: Digger played a team that didn't need to be resurrected?

Re: What are you painting Right Now?
not really, no. it was in the blood bowl community FB group and there are probably a couple of dozen posts a day, and this post was a couple of moths ago. it's not likely that i'll ever find it again, unfortunately. it pretty much looks exactly like mine, to the best of my knowledge.bound for glory wrote:Mike, for us what don't "do" Facebook, can you like us to this conversion?mikeyc222 wrote:thanks jim!

Mike, I have a "Zara" and even tho that is a really cool conversion(better then the original model, IMO) I don't want to chop it up..
I do have 2 Willy clones...will it work with that chick?

How are the Willy clones? Are they the ones with the mold line down part of the face or is that on the original model?

i guess i'm not really following exactly what you're asking, but if you want details on building the conversion, you can check out my blog post on building the mini here.bound for glory wrote:Mike, I have a "Zara" and even tho that is a really cool conversion(better then the original model, IMO) I don't want to chop it up..

I thought the conversion used the zara figure in some way.
Anyway, I will make that zara. Thanks!

I have 2 of them, and there is no seem line on the faces. They are nice figures.faust_33 wrote:How are the Willy clones? Are they the ones with the mold line down part of the face or is that on the original model?

Re: What are you painting Right Now?
Thanks, that's good to know. I guess the other nice thing is that one could use the same model for Zara and the new Karla. Though I'm guessing most people would opt for Karla now. Still it's nice that they didn't make a 'new Zara' that totally obsoletes the old models by giving her wings or something crazy.bound for glory wrote:I have 2 of them, and there is no seem line on the faces. I almost finished the Hungry Troll Nurgle Team. Bit on and off between commissions, but only the counters, two chainsaws and whiparm are left. Really a nice team!

Finally started painting the new orcs, plus I seems to have bought the dwarf team - just for painting though. I'm not actually going to play them.......
