Least difficult team to play against - and why

Post by Cool Hand Fluke »

Ok, i admit to being bored

In my newbie league i've had more problems with Norse over the others (human, dark elves, ogres/gobbos, skaven)

Not a big league i grant you but there you go. So, who do i have to watch out for with my scaven?

Biggest long term threats: Humans
Most annoying: Dark Elves
Most painful to play against: Ogre/Goblin or Norse

Dwarves - they bore me and I lose all motivation to play resulting in losses normally to just get the game over with.

Lizards are tough too quick and strong makes defense scrappy (though with 2 wins out of 3 against them I can't complain too much and hardly have a huge frame of reference).

What kind of snotling team? the kind with 4 trolls, thats more difficult to beat than it sounds.

I don't really know the different kinds of snotling teams, (I haven't been playing for very long) but there where 2 trolls and the one starplayer Ripper Bolgrot....
They just swarmed over the board, got a lot of blocks in but never really painfull
I lost by 2 to 0 and I had 1 death and 4 niggling injury's, he got the ref on the kick-off table.
(BTW this guy plays by his own rules, so it's a mix of new rules and old rules)
Bad mix IMHO

Sounds like he was playing with mostly original snotling rules, which were too overpowered (a snotling team managed to win a major tourney a couple years back, so I'm told). Look at Galak's webpage blood-bowl.net and check out the revised snotling rules. I have used them and they work well to keep snots down where they should be, below the level of gobos and flings. The problem with the original rules was that there were so many snots, it didn't matter how many cas you took, you could always swarm the opposition.

Probably the easiest team I ever faced was any coached by Pariah using PBeM. I don' know what it is, but his luck always sucks when he faces me.

Sorry P

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

No, I'm on holidays and can't afford to go anywhere, so I'm spending my time painting minis and surfing TBB (I know it's pathetic, but oh well).

Since you're in the "Nuffle Sucks" mood, why don't you join our little orginisation, the Nuffle Blasphemer's Association (NBA). Just add Nuffle Sucks! to your sig as well as your new rank in the NBA, like so;

Nuffle Sucks!

Apprentice Blasphemer
Nuffle Blasphemer's Association

It's that easy.

We're looking into that, if we get enough people, it's a possibility.
