A forum for football mini's talk.......painting, converting etc. etc. or showing off great accessories that make playing the game easier, cooler or more fun.

Haha, I'm in the same boat. The Dwarf team is the first one I have tried to start. I usually save for my favorite teams for later, so I get a little better as I get to them. I likely won't play Dwarves, but they might be a good starting team to get my son interested.
Very nice work on your models. That blue looks great.
I like the green and purple on the Skaven. I've seen that a few times on Goblins, but don't know that I've seen it on Skaven. Great choice. Might be an interesting team color for an Underworld team as well.
I’ve just completed a conversion of Fungus the Loon. Had already done a normal fanatic using the new Forgeworld model and wanted to do something a bit different. Instead of a goblin swinging a metal ball around I wanted the goblin to be swung instead.
A squig has been trained to hold onto the rope and spin round whilst Fungus clings on. I did consider making it more of a comedy diorama as if the squig had grabbed hold of the ball and poor Fungus was hanging on for dear life. However I didn’t think that would represent ST7 very well and modelled him in a kung-fu kicking pose instead.
As there is both a goblin and squig I guess they could be used as Madcap Miggz too.

That is awesome. Looks all kinds of impractical, but awesome.

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.
