We have a Goblin and Halfling coach (amongst others) in our league and they both use TTM to good use, tho a couple of us have been questioning how the mechanic actually works as the rules and how they play it seem to differ...
Assuming there's no TZs on the player
Troll TTM - 2+ (Really Stupid) 2+ (Always Hungry)
The Gobbo coach then plays the throw as 3+ for Short and 2+ for Quick, stating that the -1 for TTM is cancelled out by the +1 for Quick pass.
Treeman TTM -
This coach states that both Short and Quick passes are a 2+ as the Treeman has Strong arm, basically cancelling out the -1 for TTM.
Both coaches seem to play TTM as about only avoiding a natural Fumble, however, and this is where the query comes in, the Rules state that TTM should be treated exactly the same as if the TTM player was throwing the ball, ie using the AG stat against the throw chart?
Confusing...
If anyone could clarify this that would be great.
(Apologies if this has been covered already, I had a quick scan and couldn't quite see the answers)
Cheers!

Hi, maybe change Ogre to Treeman in your second example?
Ag is not used at all. Here is my write-up: https://www.thenaf.net/blood-bowl/rules ... ations/#10

Re: TTM explained (please)
Yes, this is essentially correct. While TTM is treated in the same way as throwing the ball in terms of skills and modifiers, TTM is always inaccurate. There's three possible outcomes from a Thrown ball: Accurate, Inaccurate and Fumble (plus Interception, but that doesn't apply here). When Throwing a Team Mate, Accurate and Inaccurate are treated in teh same way, so it's only really important to know if the throw is successful or a Fumble.LJCA wrote:Both coaches seem to play TTM as about only avoiding a natural Fumble, however, and this is where the query comes in, the Rules state that TTM should be treated exactly the same as if the TTM player was throwing the ball, ie using the AG stat against the throw chart?
