Whilst not every mutation goes to plan, for example, famously there was the high elf thrower Selkath Pantoran that grew a tentacle where his prized throwing arm was, and the Slann catcher Zhul Zetec who grew iron hard skin and could then jump no higher than a halfling sandwich, never mind into a cage; some grow mutations that will make them legends in the game, like a certain gutter runner who grew an extra head and 2 extra arms, making him the top touch down scorer in the whole of the game.
The Rules
This is an individual NAF ranked tournament.
The first round will be paired randomly, all subsequent rounds will use the Swiss pairing methodology through Tourplay.
All teams will have 1,150,000 to spend on roster creation, and must have a minimum of 11 players before hiring star players.
All coaches will be required to be NAF members, this can be done prior to the event through our Regional NAF rep Warka or on the day for £5 or $10 via the NAF website thenaf.net.
Skills

Tier 2 (4 primaries and 1 mutation)- Necromantic Horror, High Elves, Orcs, Wood Elves, Skaven, Lizards, Tomb Kings, Humans, Norse.
Tier 3 (1 secondary, 4 primaries and 2 mutations)- Slann, Black Orcs, Elven Union, Chaos Chosen, Khorne, Imperial Nobility.

Each additional mutation given to your players as part of the skill pack is capped at a maximum 2 per team. So for example, you cannot add more than 2 extra long legs, or add more than 2 tentacles.
Each additional skill given to your players as part of the skill pack is capped at a maximum 2 per team. So for example, you cannot add more than 2 diving catch skills, or add more than 2 fumblerooskie skills.
Skills cannot be stacked, except for a single player, who can stack up to 2 skills or mutations.
Star players are allowed, but cost 1 primary skill (in addition to their normal hiring cost). However, the best stars in the bloodbowl world are scared of playing against all the mutations (worried about being gored by horns, snapped in two by claws and kicked to death with very long legs), so Griff, Hakflem, Deeproot, Morg, Dribblesnot and Cindy are not available.
Star players cannot take additional skills or mutations.

We will not be awarding a wooden spoon. We are trying to encourage newer players coming along without fear of being singled out as the worst player at an event. As such, the first 2 coaches to contact me to play in the event, that have played 2 or less NAF tournaments before will be given their space for free.
Scoring
We will be using Tourplay for the event: https://tourplay.net/en/blood-bowl/muta ... gistration
Please register your team on tourplay at least a week before the event. Tourplay will not allow mutations to be added to teams that don’t get access to them, so these will be manually added on the day. Rosters will be checked by your first opponent.
