Couldn’t disagree more, passing into a cage is a very bad idea unless it’s the only way to stop the thrower getting sacked next turn.

Even if you are aiming at a guy in a mega-bunker (legendary fabled impenetrable cage with multiple layers) if you fumble of he fluffs the catch then you have probably lost the ball or will have a hard time getting it back.

If the opportunity arises to QP (2+ with pass skill) or SP (3+ with pass skill) and I am catching on 3+ (or 2+ with AG4 Blitzer) with a team reroll for catch, I would not refuse...
Orcs can pass! They just don't always need to

Odds of failing are
2+ pass and 2+ catch (with re-rolls) = 5.48%, about 1 in 18
3+ pass and 2+ catch (with re-rolls) = 13.58%, about 1 in 7
3+ pass and 3+ catch (with re-rolls) = 20.99%, about 1 in 5

So I’d never pass unless failing would leave the ball safe or it was a desperate situation.
Plus since the catch is with a team re-roll you risk wasting it when you may well need it later on.

I didn't mean that passing should be your first resort (certainly not SP'ing... that's a bit better than a desperation tactic). You can run into the cage, too, if the defense and lie of the ball will let you. The important thing is: don't engage in your own backfield! Make the other guy host the battle.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.
