True...that season was their rookie season.
The same goes for the dwarves, there are a few posts out there about the dwarves being too powerful but the same principal of "opponent skill gain" creeps up on the dwarves and they are no longer the skill powerhouse when compared to other experienced teams.

The end-zone “line of death” does not discriminate when one tempts fate by using a “go for it” to pass over it.

As I have said many times
NO TEAM NEEDS BIG GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This includes Chaos Dwarfs. However, that is not a good reason to take away the Big guys they do have. It is not like having a BG overpowers them. They usualy do better without one.
And having them fits perfectly with the fluff and spirt of the team.

Mistwraith is right. NO team needs BGs...with the exception of Stunty teams.
They should be available as Fluffy alternatives and nothing more (do I need to post the link AGAIN?)

I would still like to see BG's available in teams, as they are part of the WarHammer World. I don't want to field a team of Ogres or Minotars, one is sufficient, but they should be about. If you feel they unbalance a team, don't field them.

We had a league that allowed up to 2 BGs per team...we cut that back using the new rules for BGs and it has greatly influenced the game (for the better I believe). With their negtraits, not allowing them to use team rerolls, and not allowing negtrait removal makes their presence (in most situations) very controlled.

I really don't have any problems with the lists the way they are currently set up...though it is strange that the dwarves do have an Ogre (I'd rather see a Death Roller BG in it's place).
