Participated to any official tournaments yet (soon... soon... )

In the Epsilon League in which I play online, my stats are (playing Lizardmen, Norse, Skavens, and gave a try with Amazons): 7W 2 T 3 L. Oh, and my league stats were about 13W 2T 6L... Not sure (2 seasons)

I'd take our system over yours anyday.

Sorry, all this might seem trivial to you, but language in all its forms has always been a great interest of mine.
Matter of opinion I guess. To me, your original statement about what people want is incorrect, at least for me (and I guess other people around here).
We want to see the teams overall performance. There are three alternative game outcomes that can be listed. They can be ordered according to how a good game it was for the team. I want to see the number of the highest class first, then the second and then the worst. So W-T-L for me. Any day over the other option.

Having grown up watching football and thus looking at league tables, its piss easy to compare win and losses even with the number of draws in the middle, its just what your used to.

Since Europeans (most probably) are the majority here....
The proper term is football and the other (rugby variant) is American football (played with hands mostly though).

''AJAX!!!''
Had to make a short exclamation as well.

And it is definitely W-T-L.
And my tourney score was 2-2-1.....

In the last mini-tournament I played (against long-time BB players too) I had my best run ever (with Skaven):
W7, T0, L0
28 TDs for, 1 against

Can't see my luck holding out though .. I feel a conspiracy against me coming on for the next session.

It's not paranoia, they are out to get you. I'm firmly convinced that most players in the league build their teams specifically to deal with my Skaven....

I'd guess it's to do with 'our' football. We score 3pts a win and 1 pt a draw (or a tie), therefore the first 2 columns are points scoring. We want to see how many points have been scored without ignoring a column in between.
So our football league tables go:

P(layed) W(on) D(rawn) L(ost) G(oals)F(or) G(oals)A(gainst) Points.

Is the CFL like the NFL in that there's only ties after OT? Same with ice hockey? If so it's obvious that the Tie column is going to be of less importance. Anyway, this is a little off topic and just out of interest.
I guess it'd help if people typed W9 T3 L5 or W9 L5 T3, rather than 9/5/3.
Just so it's easily understood by everybody at a glance regardless of pond-side.

And guys, let's not do the soccer/football thing again, I seem to recall the last one getting locked.

I'd never played in leagues before starting up in REBBL, and enjoying it immensely. Currently I'm at W3 T0 L2, but I think I'll be 3-0-3 shortly unless I can conjure something miraculous in the second half against Deathwings Orcs ;)

DW: Yes, in ice hockey, ties are counted after OT. The NHL has started this program of giving teams a point for overtime losses to encourage teams to play for the win, but that's a whole other topic.

Right On.

If one includes test matches, MBBL, REBBL, and the REBBL Challenge/Open, I'm at 6 wins, 2 losses with a four-game winning streak, although considering the way my games are going now, that's likely to get worse.

oh, I see the debate. I put my records in the W-L-T format we use here in the statets, so my total record is 3 wins and 5 losses. I'm in my first OT game in the pub league, so maybe a tie is on the horizon. I forgot the table is W-D-L everywhere else. And I'm a big association football fan. I should've remembered. :smoking:

Princelucianus:

Yet another European who thinks all football is american football. What about canadian football and australian football?

Canadian football and american football are both simply football. Soccer is soccer and australian football is australian football. At least that's how it works over here.
