You know, SARS is probably the best thing that ever happenbed to anyone who wants to travel here. I bet the hotel and flight costs will be lower than normal.

I am sure Kevin will be glad to have all that pressure on his shoulders! In fact I don't think the TBBF have ever not had a first place in a tournament in North America. You can be sure we'll be gunning for this one!

Ian (NAF Canadian NTO) is going over to the GW HQ soon (he lives just up the street!) to find out some more details. I'll let you know what happens.

I hope it works out around the middle of August. I think I could actually make it, and it'd be fun to get up there meet the gang and see the sights. Let us know if this is the real deal or not.

You won't need masks pretty soon, you can just filter the air through newly legalized (sorta) virus incineration/air purification tubes. AKA a big fattie.

With impending legalization and free needles, I don't think SARS will be enough to stop the massive influx of Americans looking to get their buzz on.

Back on topic, Does anyone know the rules for the Chaos Cup? I signed up but have yet to recieve my rules packet, I want to know what they are going to do for advancement.

I think you are a bit misinformed, Canada isn't looking at legalisation, only decriminalisation of possession of a small amount, so don't expect large influx of Yanks looking for an Amsterdam North.

I'm not misinformed, I realise Canada is only lowering the fines for possession...not decriminalising it. The fact is that in the US the media makes it sound like Canada **IS** going to be Amsterdam North... even if it is South of us. Seeing as Canada is the 1st place any 19 year old goes after their B-day, don't be surprised if the bud brings them out in droves too.

Why do they wait until they're 19? Everything is legal by the time you're 18 over here!

And DarkLord : you should take a tour of the Montreal nightlife before barfing on us... You won't see too many ugly girls on Crescent Street or St-Laurent Boulevard... You could even drop by Chez Paré, it's right across the office. There you'll enjoy your stay !

Windsor is 19, probably because it's just a quick hop over the Ambasador bridge from Detroit. No idea what the minimum age is other places.
