Hey Sam,

Ferry's booked.. :D

Anyway rules....
Had a few beers today, but I'll ramble anyway...
Allowing mutations does encourage Skaven teams.. but different rulesets always allow spice... Albion Coast I had lots of Skaven cos the ruleset seems to help them...they didn't win or even dominiate it though. IIRC on the Sunday there were a few Skaven teams in the midfield all with Block Rat Ogres and Claw Storm Vermin ripping hell out of each other to little effect on the overall table.

I think the rules fine mate as they stand.. IMO anyway..

Agreed with Woody here. If you award a trait, then let them all choose what they want. And as it's random, you never know what will happen. It might turn out that a linerat get's the double, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just another target to kill!

yeah, traits or mutations makes little difference to be honest.. quite balanced as it is...

I still think 60K for extra ingredients is WAAAY too low though...

If gaining a trait is the same as a double: meaning you can take any skill or traits from the type of skills you already can take, I don't mind the mutations.

But this point isn't really clear to me as it is always stated that you can take a trait, I suppose that you can't take agility skills on a Orc Blitzer.

actually, I interpret the rule that you can indeed take Agility skills on an Orc blitzer.. or block on a Troll etc...

I'm pretty sure the rule will be that you can choose a skill/trait as if you had rolled a double. So crossoverover will be allowed.

Rumours also has it that the Belgians are so quiet now because they are in training! Useless of course, but let them try anyway!

Hey, let me remind you that a belgian did win last year and a dutchman came last! :P  I think Seb has a good chance, he's always been a good player, has the prefect team for the rules and his dice are on fire lately!

I can confirm this.
"Trait" equals "crossover skill" equals "physical" (since people seem not to mind that)

Hi Sam

I'll probably bring along a 40K army for a game on the Friday evening if any of the club members are free.

Without Hoomin's evil influence I will hopefully remember the game this year....

Also have some good new boardgames to bring!

Cheers

Richard

remember richard, i don't drive a transit van. think of the room  nah sod it, bring what you want, i've just found out that it'll only be about 2 hours total driving (hour down to dover and then about an hour other side) so you'll not be too cramped up.
