Lets make an errata list for LRB
Hi all,
the living rulebook is truly a magnificent document, and allready I'm pointing newbies and oldies to the website.
However, I wouldn't want anyone to learn the wrong rules by reading it.
Therefore, why don't we join forces to make a comprehensive list of errata right here?
I'll go first:
*The Claw and (Razor) Fang skills are flawed: The skill descriptions state that they both skills can be applied to either armor or injury roll. In fact, only claw can be applied to the armor roll, and only (razor) fang can be applied to the injury roll.
*Not errata as such, but something that was left out by mistake: Whenever you get a stat increase on a skill roll, you have the option of ignoring the stat and picking a skill instead (as per the normal rules).

This has been fixed already in the LRBplasmoid wrote: I'll go first:

As per some _house_ rules, you mean? You do not have that option in the normal rules.plasmoid wrote:*Not errata as such, but something that was left out by mistake: Whenever you get a stat increase on a skill roll, you have the option of ignoring the stat and picking a skill instead (as per the normal rules).

All ready done.
Per the request at the beginning of the document for typos and rules questions, I made a huge list for Fanatic and sent it to Andy Hall. I was told the issues would be addressed before printing. I hope that claim was accurate.
I compiled the list on the BBC. During that time, I got a few complaints about how I'm a big nitpicker who shouldn't be trying to find typos in the rules, and that the large number of insignificant typos I found somehow prove that the document is without real flaws. So, I'm not going to bother posting my work here, because I don't want to annoy people, but I still feel an obligation to tell you that the Living Handbook has been almost completely proofread.
Instead of making an errata, I'd wait a little longer to see how many changes are made to the online document. If this rulebook really is alive, your errata will be irrelevant soon enough.

Oops, I knew I shouldn't have deleted that line.
Oops, I knew I shouldn't have deleted that line. I really had a line about how I got some support, but I thought it took away from my point. It also looked very weak in comparison to the rest of the message.
Sorry Galak, and Anthony, and anyone else who didn't dump on me.
By the way, how did my player's Bionic Arm surgery go? Can I retire him before my next game if he lost strength?
