Best player you've ever seen...

Post by Nedders »

Hi, Nedders here.

I'm kinda new here, but am a veteran Blood Bowler, having many leagues under my belt and around 10 years exp.

Just wanted to start a thread on the best player ever, as i'm sure there are plenty of offers.

Personally, i think a wardancer with MA8 ST4 AG5 AV7, and strip ball and
tackle was the best i ever saw, but he fell to the inevitable foul.

Just glad he wasn't mine. hehe.

That's... kinda... odd... ;)

Brack the Norse Blitzer was pretty good, he had picked up Mighty Blow and Piling on, and had 10 casualties in 5 games... but then he picked up another skill, and aged, and went down in strength (to add to the niggler he had picked up before), and then suddenly became pretty worthless... ;)

My Dragon Warrior's pretty good at the moment, he's got Block, Dodge, and Sidestep, and will probably pick up Shadowing next... he's about the most annoying guy on the field, as most of the coaches I've played against will attest to.

And my Thrower picked up AG5, MA 7, and Accurate... the extra movement helps more than I thought it would originally, and now if he starts in his own end zone, he can move out and throw a long bomb to within 5 squares of the opposite end zone (close enough for any elf player to score after catching), and has a 89% chance of being accurate with it...

I'm sure other people have had something better, that's just some of what I've seen so far. =) Haven't had any specific indivuals shine so much because of the way I play, I tend to prefer 3 different guys picking up one skill each over one guy picking up 3... =)

Nice, mine's the same and I'm torn between Shadowing and Tackle (as I don't have any tacklers yet). My other DW has got +MA so he's getting shadowing for sure.

+ST War Dancers are always nasty, but combined with +AG :evil:

In my great elf team, i have some examples:

DW 7 4 4 8 block,tackle,ST+1,MB=>cool linebacker
PW 6 3 4 8 Pass,accurate,sureHands,Strong arm,safe throw,dodge=>yep, he is old in the game (i would AG+1 now)
Linelf 7 3 5 8 M+1,AG+1,Jump up, dodge=>very elfy ,dont you think.
and the best for the end:
DW 7 3 6 8 Block,Ag+1,Leap,Ag+1,Passblock. Some int already :) i need soon and catch in long time...

I ve other great players but those are my favourites. :)
