The custom bases are really nice... they even have one with a downed troll on it!
http://www.shop.microartstudio.com/
Pros (my point of view): The bases come in 25mm and 40mm rounds as well as an assortment of squares.... 25mm Infested bases would be perfect for a Nurgle team... and the Mosaic bases would work well for anyone.... The Cobblestone bases would set off any Street Bowl team well.... In their miniatures section, the Obsequious Servants got a smile and thumbs up from me.... The Large Troll is beyond belief in it's detail... it's just too damned big (if that is indeed a 25mm corpse represented under it)....
Cons (mypov): The bases are unpainted.... And most of the bases are not flat (naturally) so worry a base neophyte, like me, as to my ability to mount slotta-minis onto them.... Still, they are visually appealing.... In the miniatures section, their "Small Troll" is a drab contrast to their other troll offering and the most boring mini I've seen in a long time (apologies to the sculptor and artist).... Last, and definitely not least, shipping is EU10 to get to America.... Perhaps it is only fair... but small orders are prohibitive at that price....
Bottom Line: Artistically capable coaches in Europe will probably enjoy the benefits of Micro Art Studio's bases....
