There are actualy a large number of teams that are god for the long term. Many more than are good for the short tearm.
Undead, High Elf, Dark Elf, Orc, Dwarf, Human, Chaos, Chaos Dwarf, and lizardman teams can all do well in a long tearm leauge structeur. All the other teams, can do fine as well, if you develop them right and are carefull about casualties (i.e. protecting your players from being them).
Basicly, pick a team you think you will have fun with and play it untill you do not have fun with it any more. Then get a new team and try them out, repeat untill you find "your" team.

Re: Long leage
Don't worry about it, we can figure it out. My expertise in other languages is pretty lacking, (my german's gone to hell), so I wouldn't be the one to get on someone's use of a second language.david13 wrote:thx for all and sorry for my english.
I agree with those above. Go with a team you a) are comfortable in playing and b) like to play. It sounds like the league is pretty heavy on the bashing. You could go the elf/skaven route and hit the slower teams with speed and agility, but then risk the casualties. I'd go with whatever race I know I could play the most competitively.

Yep, take what you like.
If you can't decide take dwarfs. They may not pull of fancy plays or stunning passes but they have high AV and cheap rerolls...very good for out lasting other teams. Also they start with developed linemen. No fuss no muss...shake and bake! That team's whole strategy is...just wait. We'll when eventually.

Just to add to the general chorous of confusion here, I'd suggest you go with Humans if you don't have any preference. They don't do any one thing really well, but they are great at exploiting another team's weaknesses. Best of all, they can start with a lot of rerolls and that makes coaching them a lot easier.

I may suggest that if you will play against bashing team you should maybe avoid Norse (i believe amazons are the same). Coz their AV 7 makes them a bit weak in the long term. And also their skill choice. What do you give to a lineman who has block and only access to general for third or fourth skill? (in long league that might happen) Amazons (like Norse) are for me a great short term team. But soon enough your opponent will have tacle and Av 7 as well makes it hard.
I can't add anything, find a funny team and avoid goblins
I've played them this season. it's funny but i'm happy to get a new team soon.
All the teams are fun. Have a game to try some teams and play the one you like

this is just the thing that makes Norse not a bashing team IMHOl_dauguet wrote:I may suggest that if you will play against bashing team you should maybe avoid Norse (i believe amazons are the same).
